This version of Sibelius is really for the iPad user who wants to created/edit on the go, with a slightly lighter version of the software, and is ok with compromised sound library. And if I were bringing all the gear to hook it up to a MIDI device, I would rather be connecting it directly to my laptop anyway. Having the rhythm input pad on the screen instead of the numerical keypad is actually more intuitive since it’s a direct input, rather than converting the numerical keypad in your head.Not being compatible with a MIDI device isn’t that crucial for me because I’ve become accustomed to inputting notes with my keyboard.
